Chefs on the Edge

Chefs on the Edge is the rowdiest culinary event of the year! A gastronomic game show that pits three chefs against each other in a battle for the title of Chef on the Edge. The chefs have a short time to create three winning dishes using a Secret Ingredient in each dish. Prize money and the title are at stake.

The 2016 competition was the Battle of the Valley, with chef-testants Chef/Owner Lori Frank from the Twisted Fork in Gunnison, 4-time champ Chef/Owner Jason Vernon of Soupçon Bistro in Crested Butte, and lastly a Crested Butte/Gunnison team of Chef David Wooding and Chef/Owner Michael Marsee from Hogwood BBQ.

Chef Michael Marchitelli (Marchitelli's Gourmet Noddle) runs the show, hosting the event with comedy, drama, food insight, and a dose of healthy heckling.

VIP Seating available! The VIP experience in the Piper Gallery includes early access to the auditorium between 4 and 5 PM to pick your seat; exclusive Elk Avenue Prime appetizers; and unlimited hosted wine available throughout the event, with no waiting.
