Encounter a Retrospective of Art from water-based painter, Suzanne Pierson with expressions of Nature from near and far. Through her eyes, see Suzanne’s Crested Butte Life and from her world travels: wild flowers, rivers, and waterfalls; land and ocean impressions in splendid watercolors and acrylics on canvas and wood.

In her Colorado home town of Crested Butte, Suzanne Pierson paints with imagination and creativity in her studio and en plein aire under the ever changing alpine sky. An energized spectrum of Light vibrates from her brush, infinitely inspired by the forests, rivers and mountain wonderland.

“Oh the Power of Nature! Moments surrounded by peaks become immediate, compelling me to visualize the subtlety or intensity of my amazement.

I question, do I- * crawl out of a great trout fishing hole to exchange my pole for a palette of color and canvas? *paint a quick thumbnail on my skis until my feet or the drops on my brush freeze? *catch my easel in a windy wildflower meadow to rush to the studio before the afternoon rains?

I answer - YES! Live large! Laugh all the way Home through the storms and precious sunny days!”
