Brad Lee Schroeder
Alpenglow Concert
Monday, August 2, 5:30 PM
With traditional good looks, power vocals and a charming smile, Brad Lee Schroeder may seem like another pretty boy rock star, but don't let those looks fool you. One listen to his music and it quickly becomes evident why Brad is one of the most popular country artists to emerge from the Mile High City. From taking over the stage at his high energy live performances to just playing a few acoustic tunes for friends, Brad certainly commands attention. Experience just one live performance from Brad and your attention is just what he will get. You'll stomp your feet when he rocks, fill up with emotion during the ballads, and laugh at his clever humor. You can guarantee that he'll leave you wanting more and before you know it, you realize that you've become a Brad Lee Schroeder fan for life.
Growing up with influences from almost every genre of music, Brad enthusiastically embraced a variety of musical styles early in life. After rocking the Rockies for almost a decade, Brad developed a deeper appreciation for country music. This resulted in an appealing blend with elements of soul, gospel and good old fashioned rock-n-roll. As Brad continued writing, recording and performing, his new music received rave reviews from his fans and was embraced by his peers. Brad was grateful for the outpouring of support, but he already had the confirmation that he needed. He already knew in his heart what his fans had been telling him. He had finally found that comfortable place that felt right; to Brad, country music was home. So, with guitar in tow, Brad headed straight for the Capitol of Country Music – Nashville, Tennessee where he quickly discovered the music, the words and the passion that he was working toward his entire life.
Alpenglow concerts are held on the outdoor stage at the Center. Bring your lawnchair and blanket, a cooler stocked with noshies and beverages, sunglasses, an umbrella and whatever else required to take in the tunes of these free outdoor concerts. Alpenglow goes on rain or shine!
ALSO, here is an opportunity you won’t want to miss. Two of our Alpenglow performers this summer, Sambadende and Brad Lee Schroeder, will conduct 90-minute workshops for middle and high school students prior to their public performances, including an opportunity to perform on stage for one song during the concert. These two workshops and performances will provide students with an incredible opportunity to acquire new skills, learn about different genres of music and how to expand music talent through education and interaction with professional musicians. In addition, students will become active participants in the Alpenglow experience, giving some of their talent back to the community. If you’d like to bring an instrument, great! If you don’t have one, don’t worry!
Ages 9-18, limit 20 students per workshop, Registration ends June 25 (for June 28th) or July30 (for Aug 2). Click here for registration form.
