Learn how to make your own handmade stamps and experiment with different ways to do traditional and non-traditional block printing. Review the basics of carving and stamping and create and print with both rubber and linoleum blocks of your own design.

Learn the basics of how alcohol inks work and how to paint with them from Western Slope-based artist and instructor, Anastasia Kenner.  Anastasia demonstrates several techniques, and then students use their new knowledge to recreate the painting Aurora Borealis.  Start with abstract skies in the background and then add simple and beautiful trees in the foreground.  Please note that this workshop is for both rising middle and high school students, 6th – 12th grade.
