In this two-part, hands-on series, learn how to turn yeast, hops, grain and water into high-quality beer right at home! In each class, beginner and advanced homebrewers alike brew a batch of all-grain beer from start to finish – from milling and mashing to fermenting, sanitation and (of course) sampling. After brewing a simple pale ale in the first class, students and instructor decide together which style of beer to brew next! Enjoy light snacks during class and return home with a growler of beer as well as tips and tricks on equipment, ingredient sourcing and writing your own recipes. Students do not need to attend both classes, but those who do get a $10 discount! At Irwin Brewing.
