Join local artist, Suzanne Pierson, to paint watercolor en plein air. Focus on gaining skills and learning techniques in composition, color mixing, wash techniques, and value to help move your painting to the next level. Watch Suzanne’s demos on techniques for water, clouds, trees, flowers, and more. Produce wondrous paintings capturing the mountain fields, flowers, and backdrops – all while enjoying time outside while you work. 

When: July 15, 22 & 29
Where: Please meet at the Center for the Arts lobby, then students will carpool to a beautiful outdoor location to paint
Time:  9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Cost:  $175 


Please Note:  Students must be able to walk and carry things 1/4 mile 

Instructor Will Supply:

  • Watercolor 140lb cold press paper
  • Basic watercolor kit
  • Brushes
  • Paper towels
  • Soft lead pencil and eraser 
  • Small plastic water container
  • Plexi boards and tape
  • Saran wrap 
  • Salt
