Quoting Winter

The written word has long been used to both investigate and celebrate seasons. Join us for a tour of texts that deal with winter, cold, snow and the north, and then let these texts serve as prompts for your own creative writing. The goal isn't to get all serious and literary, but rather to playfully deepen our appreciation of a season that, for better or worse, is here to stay for many months each year. This workshop is offered indoors but … snowballs will be involved! Beginner and intermediate writers welcome. Location: the Center.
