SUMMARY:Fall Folk: LVDY
DESCRIPTION:LVDY [pronounced LADY] is the Colorado-based duo of Kathleen Hooper and Aubrey Mable\, creating music that moves\, uplifts\, and connects. With roots in singer-songwriter\, indie-folk and a sound shaped by soaring harmonies and organic instrumentation\, LVDY crafts songs that feel like home. In unison it is almost unrecognizable who’s who\, and in harmony\, an effortless blend that welcomes the exhale. Their uplifting sound and intimate storytelling weave love anthems in and out of their messages\, with simple yet important reminders that we’re not alone. \nTheir ethereal harmonies\, musical warmth\, and meaningful lyrics find inspiration in the beauty of the outdoors and the threads that weave us together as humans. Though their roots lie in the singer-songwriter realm\, their music is intentionally genre-fluid\, allowing them to adapt their sound to a wide range of audiences\, settings\, and collaborations. \nFormed in 2018\, LVDY has played hundreds of shows across the U.S. & Europe—self-funded\, self-built\, and community-powered. What started as sidewalk busking has evolved into a loyal grassroots community—the LVDYMOB—and an intimate\, high-connection live experience. They have shared stages with the likes of Rising Appalachia\, Dirtwire\, KT Tunstall\, Emily King\, Daniel Rodriguez\, JOSEPH\, Joy Oladokun\, Ayla Nereo\, LÉON\, Emily Scott Robinson\, and Brendan James. \n“Mable’s warm rasp complements Hooper’s bright and clear vocals. With an acoustic guitar\, the occasional tambourine\, and their harmonies\, LVDY creates honest music filled with positive energy that’s perfect for those sunny Colorado afternoons.“ \n– 303 Magazine \nAubrey and Kathleen’s journey began in 2012 when they met while studying abroad in Dunedin\, New Zealand. Quickly becoming the best of friends\, they bonded over shared dreams of traveling the world and sharing their music. Their jam sessions\, often set in chilly New Zealand flats\, eventually led to the formation of LVDY. After returning to the U.S.\, they continued playing on front porches and in the homes of friends and family\, turning late-night kitchen jams into the spark of their original music. \nLVDY’s debut EP\, Electricity\, was produced by Dreamers Delight and released in February 2019. That year\, the duo was named Best Folk Band/Artist by Denver’s 303 Magazine\, marking the beginning of their full-time music career. LVDY toured nearly 100 shows and festivals across the country\, performing at renowned venues like Denver’s Lost Lake\, Larimer Lounge\, and The Marquis Theater\, as well as New York’s Rockwood Music Hall\, L.A.’s Hotel Café\, and Chicago’s House of Blues. \nTheir debut album\, Gold\, came to life in 2020 through a successful Kickstarter campaign\, followed by The Woods in 2022. In February 2024\, they released Feathers\, a dynamic EP produced by award-winning artist Dan Rodriguez\, marking a new chapter in their evolution. On the heels of a momentous 2025\, 2026 holds the release of their most mature sound yet\, weaving medicinal mantras and indie-folk pop songs into your everyday life. \nBeyond the stage\, Aubrey & Kathleen adore creating experiences outside that bridge the gap between nature and music. From intimate backcountry yoga retreats tucked deep in the mountains to soul-nourishing live music river trips\, these gatherings are designed to slow people down and reconnect them to themselves\, to each other\, and to the natural world. Whether floating down a winding river or grounding into stillness in the wilderness\, their intention is to create spaces where music isn’t just heard—it’s felt\, shared\, and lived. \nThrough it all\, LVDY remains driven by the belief that music is medicine and community is everything. \n

SUMMARY:What the Water Brings
DESCRIPTION:Presented by the Crested Butte School of Dance(opens in new tab)\nWhat the Water Brings is a dance offering for water—the source of all life—and a collective prayer for rain\, snow\, planetary health\, and the ecosystems that sustain us. Inspired by ancient traditions of ritual and gratitude\, this contemporary ceremony invites reflection on both the world around us and the inner landscapes of abundance\, drought\, and renewal. More than a performance\, it is a living ceremony where choreographers\, dancers\, musicians\, visual artists\, and audience members become co-participants in an act of offering. Through movement\, ritual\, and collective participation\, we honor the waters that sustain our valley and invite a shared invocation of hope\, gratitude\, and belonging. \nNovember 6 – Doors 6pm | Show 7pm \nNovember 7 – Doors 6pm | Show 7pm \nTickets on sale soon!

SUMMARY:Dan Tyminski Band
DESCRIPTION:Tickets on Sale | Friday\, August 14 at 10am MST\nWith a career spanning more than three decades\, Dan Tyminski is one of the most celebrated voices in modern bluegrass. A 14-time Grammy Award winner\, Tyminski is renowned for his work with Alison Krauss & Union Station\, his iconic vocals on “I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow” from O Brother\, Where Art Thou?\, and his global hit collaboration with Avicii\, “Hey Brother\,” which has surpassed one billion streams. \nBacked by his acclaimed band\, Tyminski delivers an unforgettable live performance that blends bluegrass tradition with masterful musicianship and heartfelt storytelling. Fresh off his Grammy-nominated live album\, Live From The Ryman\, he continues to captivate audiences with the energy\, authenticity\, and timeless sound that have made him one of the genre’s most influential artists. \nLISTEN ON SPOTIFY \nBio  \nDan Tyminski was six years old when his parents began taking him to fiddle contests\, square dances\, and bluegrass festivals across New England. For a young musician who would later become one of the biggest names in modern-day bluegrass\, those early experiences were life changing. \n“Watching live music always spoke to me much louder than sitting in front of my record player\,” he remembers. “I loved it. Wherever music was being played\, I wanted to go watch. Years later\, I still feel that way.” \nThroughout his 30+ year career\, Tyminski has left his mark in every corner of modern music. His voice famously accompanies George Clooney’s performance of the Stanley Brothers’ classic song\, “I Am A Man of Constant Sorrow\,” in the film\, Oh Brother\, Where Art Thou? and his vocal collaboration with Swedish DJ Avicii on the song “Hey Brother” was a global smash\, having been streamed more than a billion times to date. His diverse solo projects and years of work with Alison Krauss and Union Station have yielded troves of award-winning music. \nIn recent years\, Tyminski’s live shows with the Dan Tyminski Band have become bluegrass fan favorites and are regularly on the must-see lists among music fans of any genre. \nWith his newest album release – the Grammy-nominated 2024 concert album Dan Tyminski: Live From The Ryman – he captures the magic of those live shows\, while also proving that he still has the same passion for live music as he did when he was growing up. \nHis earliest touring and recording work was as a part of the band\, Green Mountain Bluegrass. He later joined the influential bluegrass group\, Lonesome River Band\, before embarking on his three decades of work with Alison Krauss and Union Station. \nThe first album that Tyminski recorded as a solo artist was the soul-stirring Carry Me Across the Mountain (2000)\, followed by the Grammy-nominated Wheels (2008) which was named the 2009 Album of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association. His work with the EDM artist\, Avicii\, inspired Dan to create the genre-defying Southern Gothic album\, released in 2017 to much critical acclaim. Tyminski would then showcase again his heart for bluegrass with the 2022 EP tribute to Tony Rice\, One More Time Before You Go\, which included guest performances by Molly Tuttle\, Sam Bush\, Dailey & Vincent\, and Billy Strings. The following year saw the release of the full-length bluegrass album\, God Fearing Heathen\, which quickly hit #1 on Billboard’s Bluegrass Albums chart. \nOver the course of his career\, Tyminski has also evolved into a prolific songwriter\, penning songs with Monty Criswell\, Phillip Lammonds\, Kristian Bush\, Ashley Monroe\, Chris Stapleton and many others. \nDan has been honored with 14 Grammy Awards and is a four-time Male Vocalist of the Year honoree by the International Bluegrass Music Association. He has also recorded instrumental or vocal harmony contributions for projects by Martina McBride\, Reba McEntire\, Brad Paisley\, Dolly Parton\, Willie Nelson\, Joan Osborne\, Charlie Daniels\, Kenny Chesney\, LeAnn Rimes\, Rob Thomas\, and Charlie Haden\, to name a few. Tyminski certainly represents the pinnacle of modern bluegrass music. \nWhile Dan enjoys a good conversation and a good cigar\, he can often be found participating in charitable Pro-Am golf tournaments\, as well as competing regularly in the Foosball tournament circuit.
