Rachael Stubbs
Gallery Coordinator
Rachael oversees, manages, and curates the Kinder Padon Gallery at the Center for the Arts. Rachael has been a practicing analog and digital fine art photographer since 2014. She was born and raised in Loveland, Colorado which is known as one of the best small art towns in America. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Western Colorado University, where she double majored in Business Administration and Studio Arts with an emphasis in Photography. Rachael served as Station Manager of KWSB 91.1 FM, worked as a writing center consultant, and holds several years of marketing and administration experience in small business start-ups on the Front Range. She has spent many years volunteering at arts organizations across Colorado from the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art to the Loveland Art Museum/Gallery to the Gunnison Arts Center. Her specialties include exhibition design, art history, decisive curation of visual arts, film photography, organization, analytic writing, and creative problem solving. Rachael is attending Western’s graduate school for a Master’s degree in Gallery and Museum Management. She is currently based in Gunnison with her partner Nick and their dog Arlo. They enjoy hiking, kayaking, camping, and all the beautiful spaces this area has to offer!
