Survival Fest

Survival Festival

Survive the New Year. Together. | March 13 + 14

Presented by: Center for the Arts x Cooperative Futures Institute

Winter is long. The future is uncertain. Community is essential.

Survival Fest is a winter festival designed to help us face it all-with humor, creativity, science, movement, music, and each other. Across one unforgettable weekend, learn practical survival skills, explore big ideas, make things with your hands, laugh into the unknown, and dance like the end times have a great soundtrack.

From avalanche awareness and snow shelters to jam bands, apocalypse comedy, saunas in the snow, and communal meals, Survival Fest blends brain food, body heat, and collective joy into something wildly necessary.

This isn’t about fear. It’s about resilience, connection, and having a really good time while building it.

Survival Fest FAQ (a.k.a. Questions You’re Already Asking Yourself)

What is Survival Fest?

A winter festival for people who want to survive the New Year with more joy, skills, laughter, and community than panic scrolling alone.

Will I actually learn how to survive something?

Absolutely. Avalanches, snowstorms, zombies, AI, winter, and social awkwardness, consider yourself warned and prepared.

What’s the Apocalypse Roadshow?

A Saturday night collision of comedy, big ideas, jam bands, and the strange comfort of laughing together about the future. Learn more at apocolypseroadshow.com

Why should I go?

Because winter is long, the world is weird, and surviving is better together.
