alpenglow concert series

The Center for the Arts presents Alpenglow, a tradition for over 30 years. This free outdoor concert series takes place Monday evenings at 5:30pm from mid-June through mid-August in the Crested Butte Town Park next door to the Center for the Arts.

With Crested Butte Mountain and Paradise Divide as the backdrop, it’s the perfect respite to enjoy the sounds of a variety of music, surrounded by family and friends. Guests are welcome to bring along low-profile lawn chairs, snacks (or a complete picnic) and non-alcoholic beverages. Join friends and family as we enjoy the best that summer in Crested Butte has to offer.

Know Before You 'Glow

There are a few rules and regulations we must follow and we ask that you read and respect these policies.

No Outside Alcohol

The Center for the Arts sells beer, wine, and liquor at Alpenglow under a special event liquor license. As such, no outdoor alcohol is allowed at the event. Please respect this policy and refrain from bringing your own alcoholic beverages. Support the Center and future Alpenglow concerts by purchasing your libations through the Center's bar.

No Pets

As much as we love your furry family members, dogs are not allowed in Town Park. Please leave your pets at home.

No Glass

Glass is not allowed in Town Park. Please bring your nonalcoholic beverages in cans or metal/plastic containers.

Do Not Empty Your Ice Chest

Please respect Town's request that we not empty ice chests on the park lawn. The ice and chilled water can freeze and kill the grass.
