The Ditchwalkers are a homegrown Crested Butte trio featuring Matt Shugert (guitar), Madeline Shugert (banjo), and Lizzy Plotkin (fiddle). Rooted in the rhythms of mountain life, their music weaves heartfelt harmonies with acoustic instrumentation, drawing from old-time, folk, and Appalachian traditions. Whether on a back porch or local stage, The Ditchwalkers bring an authentic sound that’s as wild and warm as the high country they call home.
