John Fellows: Friends of Friends Exhibition
09 | 05 to 11 | 02
Reception: September 5 | 5-7pm
“Friends of Friends” is a group exhibition that gathers a vibrant mix of artists working across a wide range of styles, mediums, and perspectives. While not everyone in the show knows each other personally, they’re all connected by a shared source of inspiration: time spent outdoors. Whether it’s the texture of a tree trunk or the rhythm of a trail, the influence of nature runs through each piece—sometimes subtly, sometimes boldly. Like any great art, a closer look often reveals something more. The show features an eclectic mix of mediums, including painting, block printing, woodworking, drawing, and spray paint. Representing creative voices from Denver, Lake Tahoe, and right here in Crested Butte, Friends of Friends is as much about connection as it is about creativity.
