On December 20, 1986, KBUT dropped the needle on Van Morrison’s “Wavelength”, and a tradition of community radio was born in the Gunnison Valley. KBUT is proud to have served the Gunnison Valley for four decades providing information, entertainment, education and more, and we are celebrating our Ruby Anniversary in style.
Please join us for the party of the year this December 20, 2026. The night will be focused on community, connection and getting down and funky with The Rumble, featuring Big Chief Joseph Boudreaux Jr. along with special guests Jennifer Hartswick and Sam Fribush.
