Move the Butte is a community dance production that features diverse dance styles performed by over 140 local Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley adults. The show serves our entire community as a supportive, inclusive, and safe environment, as well as an opportunity for dancers to perform on stage. This production showcases many dance styles such as Ballet, Tap, Aerial, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Burlesque, Fire Performing, Hula Hooping, and more! Approximately 1,400 audience members watch Move the Butte each year, and we encourage any new participants to join us!
