Have an idea to share with the community? The Center for the Arts is opening its doors! Through our Open Doors Program, you can host free classes, workshops, or gatherings right here at the Center, no rental fee required.
Interested in hosting a free event through Open Doors?
At a Glance
- Free classroom space for individuals or groups
- Rental space can only be used for events that are free and open to the public
- Available Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
- Hosts are responsible for set-up, break down, and clean-up
How it Works
- Submit your request at least one week in advance
- We’ll confirm availability within two business days
- Gather your community and make it happen!
What's a Fit?
- ✔ Workshops, rehearsals, community meetups, discussions
- ✘ Private parties, board meetings, or paid classes
Logistics
- Spaces Available:
- King Community Room (capacity: 49)
- Hawk Studio (capacity: 34)
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
- Set-up/clean-up: Handled by the renter (tables and chairs provided)
- Staffing: Center staff are not available to support Open Doors events
- Children: Those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult
