Sita Fenerty | sitafenerty.com
Sita Fenerty’s evolution into painting nature has led her to create a style she calls neo-plein air. The concept intertwines traditional plein air painting with more elaborate, thought-provoking elements. Her stylized mountain forms are painted lines pigmented with mineral ores from the mountains themselves. She pulls the natural lines out of the landscape around her to place emphasis on the missed connections between humans/society/art and nature.
